We all like to indulge in life, sometimes a little too much – and that comes from personal experience! In recent years I have become a lot more aware of the importance of human health, both physically and mentally. This doesn’t mean I have been following a strict routine in keeping healthy, avoiding too much alcohol or bad food – but I guess I have learned to balance out the scales a little better!

Living in Ireland has its ups and downs. When the weather is good we lap it up, straight to the beach never mind the temperature, but most of the time it is rain and wind. We lived the glory days of the Celtic Tiger which came to a disastrous conclusion – although bounced back (some are wary we are falling into old habits) and of course Ireland while being known for its friendly people, also has a down side…

Ireland has its health issues like all countries, although in some cases we may have ignored a lot of them for too long. With heart disease and mental health among other things continuing to be major factors in our society, we perhaps should take better care of ourselves.

We thought this website would be a good idea to share what we have learned so far and continue to discover. What is for sure and like most people in Ireland, we have family and friends which have been affected by bad health.

Not all the information on this website is from a qualified professional. People should take this information away to digest and do what they wish with it, and always consult the professionals when deciding to make any serious lifestyle change.

What we hope this site does do, is allow others to make small changes in their daily routine if they wish to improve on anything, build on these and become the best version of who they can be.
